When your news feed is full of weddings, scrolling past one to another, ideas running wild!
I wanted something a little different to our first, just my family, just the four of us but special all the same. Our wedding renewal. I’ve always wanted to recreate our wedding day to include the kids and when owning this business it just made me want to bring the dream to life. I loved every bit of planning our wedding and to do a small bit of it again was just as fun. Actually better. Renewing our vows was beautiful and intimate. In a little forest out near Ganmain. We set up a relaxed picnic setting with rugs and cushions and let the sun set around us as we grazed on a platter of food and sipped fairy floss cocktails! My flower choice was something a little different, it was risky but we think it paid off and we thank Soph for accepting the challenge. Alayah picked her own dress so we worked with that colour while keeping the boys looking sharp. We made heart shape confetti from gum leaves that the kids threw around. We included them in the process from the start. With the 1st attempt failing due to catastrophic bush fires that saw the sugar pines burnt, to our second attempt during a pandemic, 3rd attempt was well worth it.
